Hardwired smoke alarms can communicate wirelessly with other compatible smoke alarms to create a fire alarm system. When one alarm is triggered, all connected alarms will sound. These need to be hard-wired but an Integrated battery backup allows continuous detection during power outages. The Photoelectric sensor detects smoke with reduced false alarms, But don't worry, each smoke alarm has one button which silences the alarm and can also be used to test the smoke detector.
